Project designed through an intersection between design and science. Living Lounge is aiming to appeal for a more sustainable practice of factory wastewater treatment, creating healthier and nature-involved leisure space for factory. The structure design takes inspiration from the calcium carbonate crystal. It serves as the habitat for plants and matches the water circulation in the sewage treatment system. A certain type of plants would be chosen to match the growing environment in the structure. Having plants in interior space would benefit the workers both physically and psychologically. Furniture would be placed inside the space for people to enjoy with. It would offer them a breath of fresh air in a heavy industrial working environment.
