This project is one of the final for Wood I. In this carving project, professor asked us to refabricate a block of pine wood, divide the wood block into several pieces, carve them and in the end assemble them together. I got interested in how a solid block could hold movement and rhythm. Therefore, I chose to "twist" the wood by carving it. Then I designed the inner pattern according to the idea of rotation. I left all the natural carving marks, as if the wood piece is growing on its own.
